 शास्त्रोक्त यह सर्वविदित है कि कर्मों एवं संपूर्ण जीवनपर्यंत किए गए लेन देन का लेखा जोखा केवल ही एक जन्म तक  सीमित न होकर जन्म-जन्मांतर तक चलता है, जिसके एक एक कर्म फलों को मनुष्य को अपने अनुवर्ती जन्मों में निश्चित ही भोगना पड़ता है।

It is well known from the scriptures that the account of the deeds and transactions done throughout life is not limited to just one birth but goes on from birth to birth, the consequences of which a person definitely has to suffer in his subsequent births.
