 "कल जो प्रणय के आगोश में मधुमय प्रेम के रंगों के साक्ष्य थे, वही मधुमासी प्रेम के रंग जब आज सामाजिक वर्जनाओं की कसौटी पर कसे गए, तो एक बदनुमा दाग ही प्रमाणित हुए, यानी कल के रंग, आज दाग हो गए।" 
Translated in English 
"Yesterday, the colors of honeyed love which were evidenced in the lap of love, when today the colors of honeyed love were put to the test of social taboos, proved to be a disgraceful stain, i.e. the colors of yesterday have become stained today."
