 "तीर्थराज प्रयाग में प्रतिवर्ष माघ माह में पूर्णिमा से पूर्णिमा के मध्य या पूरे माह पवित्र संगम में स्नान करने से पद्मपुराण महात्म्य के अनुसार मनुष्य के शरीर में स्थित उपाताप जलकर भस्म हो जाते हैं, एवम् आध्यात्मिक चेतना का संचार होता है।" 
Translated in English 
"According to Padmapuran Mahatmya, by taking bath in holy confluence every year in the month of Magh in the month of Magh, between full moon and full moon, the heat of the human body is burnt to ashes, and spiritual consciousness is transmitted."
