 "सावन शिव को सबसे प्रिय मास है, इसका कारण देवी सती के योग शक्ति द्वारा पिता दक्ष के यहां देह त्याग करने के बाद, हिमालय के घर पुत्री रूप में जन्म लेने उपरांत शिव को वर रूप में पाने हेतु, इसी सावन मास में पार्वती ने कठोर तप किया, इसी तप से ही शिव शक्ति का पुनः मिलन हुआ।"

"Sawan is the most favorite month of Shiva, the reason for this is that after giving up his body at the house of father Daksha by the yoga power of Goddess Sati, in order to get Shiva in the form of a bride after taking birth as a daughter in the Himalayas, in this month of Sawan, Parvati hardened. Did penance, it was only through this penance that Shiva Shakti was reunited."
