"पौराणिक कथा अनुसार ज्येष्ठ मास में, मंगलवार के दिन ही, त्रेतायुग में मर्यादा पुरुषोत्तम श्री राम की प्रथम भेंट महाबली कालजई भक्त वत्सल हनुमान से हुई थी, तभी से ज्येष्ठ माह के मंगल को बड़ा मंगल या बुढ़वा मंगल मान कर महाबली हनुमान का पूजन अर्चन करके कृपा प्राप्त की जाती है।"

According to the legend, in the month of Jyeshtha, on Tuesday, in Tretayuga, Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram had his first meeting with Mahabali Kaljai Bhakt Vatsal Hanuman, since then, the Tuesday of Jyeshtha month is considered as Big Mangal or Budhwa Mangal and worshiped Mahabali Hanuman. Grace is received.
